Sometimes we may need to share information and work in partnership with other agencies when there are concerns about a child's welfare. We will ensure that our concerns about our pupils are discussed with the parents/carers first unless we have reason to believe that such a move would be contrary to the child's welfare. We work closely with the
Devon Children Safeguarding Boards and
Plymouth Safeguarding Board to ensure our children are safe from abuse, harm or child sexual exploitation. We are an
Operation Encompass School that supports children who have experienced domestic abuse.
Our senior designated teacher with responsibility for safeguarding in school is Tom Cole and the deputy is Jen Sparkes. There is also a designated lead in the Link Academy Trust. You may speak to us if you have any concerns about your own, or another, child.
