Anti bullying

At Sparkwell Primary we take all reports of bullying seriously. We are working on a programme called KiVa (meaning kindness) and we promote the importance of kindness to everyone and that we all have a role to play in stopping bullying. Our anti-bullying policy can be found on our School Policies page (under the About Us tab).

We define bullying as 'Several Times on Purpose' (STOP)

If you feel your child is being bullied, please speak to the class teacher or ask to speak to one of the KiVa team (Mrs Palmer, Miss Lovick, Mrs McLoughlin & Miss Harris). They will use a screening form to gather information and evidence so problems can be addressed swiftly with all the children involved and wider members of the class. The screening forms can be found below, feel free to print this off and fill it in at home if you prefer. Return it to school and a member of the KiVa team will call you to talk about this further.

A comprehensive guide for parents and carers can be found here: https://data.kivaprogram.net/parents/ and a video explaining the process can be found here
